Thanks to Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, I can share with you a models ranking for Serbia over the Full Year 2013, when the market is down 4% to 22,499 registrations. Serbia is a great example of a country where ‘buying local’ is important. If last year the Fiat Punto Classic, produced at the Fiat Srbija plant in Kragujevac, topped the sales charts, this year it is the Fiat 500L, also produced in Kragujevac, that grabs the top spot. This makes Serbia the first country in the world the Fiat 500L has managed to top so far. It sells 2,061 units for a massive 9.2% share, while the Punto is down 36% to 1,240 units and 5.5%. The Skoda Fabia (-30%) round up the podium and is one of 3 Skodas in the Top 5 with the Octavia at #4 and Yeti at #5.
