New car sales in Norway are down 5% year-on-year in July to 11,312 registrations, which brings the year-to-date total to 81,956 units, now up just 0.8% on 2012. The VW Golf dominates for the 11th time in the last 12 months thanks to 587 sales and 5.2%, while the Mazda CX-5 is back up to a fantastic 2nd place at 502 units and 4.4%, reinforcing its #2 spot year-to-date with 2,724 sales and 3.3%.

Toyota RAV4

The Toyota Yaris remains #3 both this month (3.9% share) and year-to-date (3%) with the RAV4 close behind at #4 with 423 units and 3.7%. Strong month for the Volvo V40, up 5 spots on June to #5 with 329 sales and 2.9% and for the Skoda Octavia also up 5 ranks to #9. Notice also the Audi A3 up to #16 and now inside the 2013 year-to-date Top 20 at #20, the Ford Kuga up to #21 and the VW Up! up to #25.
