Thanks to Kaloyan it looks like Bulgaria could become a monthly fixture on BSCB with an all-models ranking available for only the third time ever on here! Great to see some countries becoming transparent… An estimated 2,189 new vehicles found a buyer in Bulgaria in November, bringing the year-to-date total to 22,291 units, keeping in mind around 25% get unofficially re-exported to neighbouring countries. After hitting an amazing 2nd spot last month in the brands ranking, Chinese carmaker Great Wall, now assembling cars locally, is back to a more reasonable but still impressive #6 with 129 sales and 5.9% and is now #7 year-to-date. Volkswagen keeps the lead at 271 units and 12.4% while Dacia is up 4 spots to #2 with an outstanding 245 sales and 11.2%, ahead of Toyota (8.6%) and Skoda (7.5%).

Great Wall Steed

Potentially in runout mode as the model is soon to be discontinued, the Dacia Logan MCV is more dominant than ever in the models ranking with a huge 131 sales for a 6% market share vs. 3.4% year-to-date. The VW Caddy shines and takes the 2nd spot at 62 units and 2.8%, followed by the Ford Fiesta, Great Wall Steed and Toyota Auris all at 2.6% and the Kia Sportage at 2.4%. Boosted by the arrival of the new model, the Dacia Logan sedan is up to #7 with 50 sales and 2.3% vs. #24 year-to-date. Notice also the Great Wall Voleex C10 down 6 spots to #9.

2013 Dacia Logan

Other great performers in Bulgaria this month include the Skoda Citigo up 34 spots to a fantastic 14th place, the Isuzu D-Max landing at #21, the Dacia Lodgy up 28 ranks to a best-ever #43 with 15 sales and the Ford B-Max up 86 to #105. No less than 4 all-new models make their first appearance in the Bulgarian ranking in November: the Citroen C-Elysee arrives directly at a shiny 36th place at 17 units, the Peugeot 301 ranks #51 with 13 sales, the Opel Mokka at #122 and the Skoda Rapid at #170.
