France LCV October 2011: Renault Kangoo and Clio strong

French Light Commercial Vehicles sales are up a healthy 5% in October at 38,691 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 350,306 units, up 2%. The Renault Kangoo is solidly stuck in pole position with an excellent 3,933 sales and 10.2% market share this month. It is also #1 year-to-date with 30,717 units and 8.8%.

The Renault Clio is also strong and is #2 both in October at 9.1% and year-to-date at 6.3%. Good performances of the Peugeot Partner, up 3 spots on September to #3 at 2,206 sales and 5.7%, the Citroen C3 also up 3 spots to #5 at 5.4% and the Renault Megane up 4 spots to #9 at 3.1%. The Renault Trafic is solid at #4 while the Fiat Ducato slows down again at #10 and 2.9%, now #3 year-to-date at 5.8%.
