Whatever about regarding Opel/GM as German, why would you count Ford?

It would be more accurate to say there are as many US cars in the top 10 as there are German (4). In any case, VAG is totally dominant now in Europe. 25% share and rising.

Well, there was a time when the Opel Kadett/Astra and Volkswagen Golf were fighting for the crown in Europe, but lately the Opel guys seem to have lost their way

I agree with you on the Hyundai i30, it’s a well done project and stylewise they are approaching a European level; I like the sleek lines of the new Peugeot 308, while the C4 is not really my cup of tea but can’t judge on quality. I really like the new Astra, but probably competition has grown more than that.

Astra deserves what? lol Hiunday i30, Peugeot 308 or Citroen C4 are better than Astra, this poor result is normal Opel is banckprut.
