The Slovenian new car market is up 6% year-on-year in October to 5.454 deliveries, lifting the year-to-date total to 50.922 units, up a very encouraging 11% on 2014. Renault returns to the brands top spot despite sales down 19% to 815 units and 14.9% share while Volkswagen is stable at 758 sales and 13.9%. Skoda is up 23% to #3, just as Hyundai gains a spectacular 243% to #4 thanks notably to the instant success of the Tucson – already 6th overall in October – and the i20 breaking into the Top 10. Notice also, in sales order, Fiat up 48%, Seat up 39%, BMW up 54%, Suzuki up 76%, Honda up 42%, Volvo up 425%, Jeep up 233% and Mini up 100%. Model-wise, the Renault Clio holds onto its throne above the Dacia Duster up a whopping 31 spots on September to #2 and kicking the Skoda Fabia and Octavia down to #3 and #4 respectively. The Suzuki Vitara is up 11 ranks to #30, the Renault Kadjar up 19 to #41 and the Fiat 500X down 22 to #47.
