Ukraine July 2018: Sportage, Duster, Tucson: podium 100% SUV
The Kia Sportage is the best-selling vehicle in Ukraine for the second straight month.

New car sales in Ukraine are back in positive in July at +4% to 6.685 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 6.6% to 46.177. In the brands ranking, Renault (+12%) edges up above YTD leader Toyota for just two sales at 725 vs. 723, both commanding 10.8% of the market. Skoda (+1%) remains in third place ahead of Nissan (+25%) and Hyundai (+51%) posting the largest gains in the Top 12. Further down, notice Honda (+168%), Porsche (+129%), Chery (+80%), Great Wall (+58%), Lexus (+49%), Volvo (+49%), Subaru (+39%), Fiat (+38%), Citroen (+32%), Peugeot (+31%), Land Rover (+24%), Ford (+19%) and Suzuki (+17%) all posting significant improvements in the Top 30. Geely (+3600%), Tesla (+333%) and JAC (+288%) also take off among smaller brands.

The Renault Duster cements its YTD leadership in Ukraine.
The Top 2 best-selling models remain unchanged on June: the Kia Sportage (-17%) and Renault Duster (+31%) are the best-sellers in Ukraine, with the latter cementing its YTD lead in the process. The Hyundai Tucson (+53%) remarkably makes the podium 100% SUV, while the Toyota Camry (+36%) and Suzuki Vitara (+54%) post the other two spectacular gains in the Top 10. The Chery Tiggo soars 80% to #12, with the Porsche Cayenne (+271%), Hyundai Elantra (+192%), Skoda Fabia (+190%), Honda CR-V (+119%) and Peugeot 301 (+84%) also making a splash in the Top 50. The Skoda Karoq (#40) is the best-selling recent launch (<12 month) ahead of the Kia Stonic (#93) and Chevrolet Bolt (#109) new for the month.
