Slovakia November 2017: Hyundai i30 (+113%) lands on podium

The Hyundai i30 ranks #3 in Slovakia in November.

The Slovak new car market is up 5.7% year-on-year in November to 8.275 units, with the YTD volume up 9.9% to 88.056 registrations. Even though the Skoda Fabia reclaims the lead of the models ranking in November at 5% and despite a 20% year-on-year drop, its larger sister the Skoda Octavia (-37% this month) remains in the YTD pole position for 74 units. The best performer in the Top 10 is without contest the Hyundai i30, more than doubling its deliveries compared to November 2016 (+113%) to climb to third place for the month at 3.6% share vs. 2.8% YTD, allowing it to step up two spots to #5 so far in 2017 and only 72 sales below the best-selling foreigner in the country, the Kia Cee’d. Notice also the Kia Sportage up 56%.
