Moldova April 2016: Suzuki Vitara most popular

Based on data published by Central European market data specialists CE Auto, the Moldovan new car market is up 9% year-on-year in April to 326 registrations, however it is down a harsh 17% year-to-date to 1.159 units. Small overall volumes mean a very volatile market and this month the Suzuki Vitara is the favourite choice here with 5.8% share, distancing the Russia-made Hyundai Solaris and the Skoda Octavia, both at 5.2% of the market. Perennial leader the Dacia Logan is once again frankly outpaced and down to a paltry 7th place. The Hyundai Tucson on the other hand cements its year-to-date lead at 93 units and 8% share.
