Indonesia February 2016: Honda BR-V confirms 2nd place

The Indonesian new car market stabilises in February at 88.236 registrations, down just 0.6% year-on-year and bringing the year-to-date total to 173.121 units, down 7% on the sale period in 2015. The Toyota Avanza continues its worrying freefall at -27% to just 10.1% market share. The main culprit: the all-new Honda BR-V, confirming the 2nd spot it snapped in January for its very first month of sales and adding 5.575 units for a 6.3% share. In the same segment, the Honda Mobilio is up 18% to #7, the Daihatsu Xenia down 4% to #10 and the Suzuki Ertiga up 18% to #12.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Indonesia February 2016The all-new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is up to #8 overall in Indonesia this month. 

Below, the Toyota Kijang Innova takes advantage of its new generation with deliveries up 33% to 5.014 while the Daihatsu Ayla (+58%) outsells its twin the Toyota Agya (-10%) for the first time. The new generation Mitsubishi Pajero Sport shoots the nameplate up to a record 8th position overall with 3.115 units sold and 3.5% share. The Datsun GO+ is up 29% to #13, the Honda Brio Satya up 63% to #14 and the Toyota Fortuner up 95% to #16, also boosted by the new model.
