Norway is one of the world’s biggest fan of alternative fuel vehicles mainly thanks to very dynamic government incentives, and a look at the models ranking confirms this. The Toyota Auris (-9%), Skoda Octavia (-3%) and Toyota Yaris (+8%) follow while at a world-best 5th place the Tesla Model S confirms last year’s very impressive sales figure (4.040) wasn’t a fluke but replicating it almost exactly in 2015 (4.039). The Nissan Leaf suffers at -33% but the BMW i3 is up 18% to land at #15, by far the brand’s best-seller in Norway (2nd best: the 3 Series at #33). Notice also the Mercedes B-Class up 217% to #20 thanks to its electric variant representing 72% of its sales and the Renault Zoe up 277% to #25.
