Mexico September 2015: Now with Top 225 All-models (BSCB exclusive)

The Honda HR-V breaks into the Mexican Top 20 this month.

As is now the tradition on BSCB, we can now share a lot more detail about the Mexican new car market, with complete brands and models rankings. We learn that Dodge more than doubles sales year-on-year (+102%) thanks to the arrival of the Attitude (#23) and Vision (#98), that Renault overtakes Seat to climb into the Top 10, that Kia gains two spots to #12 for its third month in market and that Ram is up 84% year-on-year. Model-wise, our temporary figures published earlier in the month are based on year-to-date totals, so final figures often show slight changes in the Top 10. It is the case again this month with the Chevrolet Sonic (167%) storming into 10th position.

The Chevrolet Trax is up 84% to #16, the Ford Fiesta up 124% to #17 and the Honda HR-V breaks into the Mexican Top 20 for the very first time at #18 thanks to 1.442 sales. Further down, the Toyota Hilux is up 33 spots on August and 73% year-on-year to #20 now that the new generation has arrived in dealerships, the VW Polo is up 12-fold (!) year-on-year to #21, and the Hyundai Tucson makes a thunderous landing into the Mexican sales charts directly inside the Top 50 at #48 with 573 deliveries.
