According to data shared by Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, the Moldovan new car market is up a very vigorous 16% year-on-year in 2014 to 5,020 registrations. The Dacia Logan improves faster than the market to cement its leadership at 15.2% share, up 47% on 2013, while the Dacia Duster remains #2 but with sales up ‘just’ 10%, sees its share slide to 4.8%. The Skoda Octavia reclaims its spot on the podium at #3, knocking the Rapid down to #4, the Hyundai Santa Fe lands at #5 and the Dacia Logan MCV at #7, lifting the Logan family market share to 17.5% in Moldova.
