Oman June 2014: Top 6 best-sellers 100% Toyota

New car sales are up 5% year-on-year in June in Oman to 17,733 registrations, bringing the half-year total to 107,218 units, up a shy 1.5% on 2013. A relatively stable Omani models ranking this month: the Toyota Hilux remains on top with 2,075 sales and 11.7% share, adding up to 12,665 and 11.8% year-to-date and followed in both rankings by the Toyota Land Cruiser Pick-up, at its world-best in Oman, at 11.1% share in June and 10.3% year-to-date.

The Hyundai Santa Fe is the best-selling non-Toyota model in Oman this month.

The Toyota Prado (#3) and Land Cruiser (#4) exchange their position vs. year-to-date while the Hiace (#5) and Corolla (#6) hold onto them, making the Top 6 best-sellers 100% Toyota both this month and year-to-date. The Hyundai Santa Fe at #6 is the best-selling non-Toyota model in Oman in June with 412 sales and 2.3% vs. #10 so far in 2014, the Hyundai Tucson is up to #11 vs. #19, the Kia Rio up to #20 vs. #29, Renault Duster up to #26 vs. #42 and the Ford F-Series is up to #45 vs. #66.
