New car sales in Europe (EU+EFTA countries) are up a very healthy 8% year-on-year in February to 894,790 registrations, the 6th consecutive month of year-on-year gain and bringing the 2014 year-to-date total after two months to 1,862,597 units, up 6% on 2013. Below, Ford and Opel/Vauxhall progress faster year-on-year (+11% and +16% respectively) but remain below their 2013 rankings #4 and #5 vs. #2 and #3 respectively.
