Today while looking around on Google Analytics, I realised that for the first time in the history of BestSellingCarsBlog, you were over 1 million unique visitors to have checked out the site over the past year! Exactly 1,043,211 between 11 July 2012 and 10 July 2013, a 85% increase over the previous year. Yes that is a lot, I am finding it hard to digest that info too! Never would I have thought when I created it in October 2010 that this site would interest so many people all over the world. So a huge THANK YOU to all of you, whether you have just discovered BSCB or you have been here from the start and became a regular reader. BestSellingCarsBlog wouldn’t be where it is if it weren’t for you.

Thank you for visiting BestSellingCarsBlog!Thank you!

Now given I know you love stats, here are a few more about where you guys came from. As a whole you came from 227 countries and territories around the globe! That is insane! The only two countries without any official visitors are North Korea and Chad, but this is likely due to the fact that these two nations do not share internet traffic with Google. So it’s fair to say that over the past 12 months you have come from absolutely every single country in the world!

Google Analytics BSCB 11 July 2013Google Analytics says it…

The Top 10 countries where you visited the site from over the last year are the United States (196,319 visits), France (96,575), Italy (79,449), the UK (77,864), India (77,602), Germany (62,531), Malaysia (49,892), Australia (47,631), Turkey (38,409) and Poland (36,804). At the other end of the scale, 3 of you came from Greenland and St Martin, 2 came from Micronesia, Guinea Bissau, Comoros and Palau and one each came from Kiribati, Montserrat, St Pierre & Miquelon and Svalbard & Jan Mayen.

Stade de France1 million people is about 12 times this stadium at capacity…

Now onto who spent the most time on the site at each visit. Among countries with over 1,000 visits (so the data is not biased towards the behaviour of a few visitors), the ones with the longest average visit duration are Taiwan (24 mins 36), Romania (9:46), China (5:40), Luxembourg (5:31), Estonia (4:41), New Zealand (4:30) and Norway (4:22).

After 3 years, which countries is BestSellingCarsBlog most expanding in? 26 of the Top 50 countries have more than doubled their visits over the period. Leading the way is Ukraine with a 254% increase in visits, I have a funny feeling this is related to the fact that Ukraine became a detailed monthly update during that time… 🙂 Then we find Venezuela at +170%, the Philippines at +164% (looks like my visit to Manila for the Auto Show was noticed!), Singapore at +148%, New Zealand at +145%, Serbia at +143%, France at +137%, Ireland at +133%, Russia and Poland both at +131% and Japan and Australia at +128%.

The city in the world with most visits over the past year is Paris (23,969), followed by London (21,089), Kuala Lumpur (18,933), Milan (18,378), Sydney (18,034), Singapore (16,598), Cairo (15,571), New York (14,169), Istanbul (13,770) and Melbourne (13,476).

  1. Thats because you are doing a good job. It is interesting to see that data for Turkey is much more detailed than any magazine published here in Turkey.
