Slovenia December 2012: Fiat Panda and Nissan Juke shoot up

No sign of improvement for new car sales in Slovenia: down 24% year-on-year in December to 2,489 registrations, bringing the Full Year 2012 total to 48,648 sales, down 17% on 2011. The Renault Clio hits its highest market share in 2012 this month thanks to all 3 generations now being included in its sales total at 208 units and 8.4%, with the entire podium unchanged on November: the Renault Megane is #2 at 4.2% and the VW Golf #3 at 3.5%. Exceptional performances of the Fiat Panda, up 6 spots to #4 with 83 sales and 3.3%, and the Nissan Juke up 24 ranks to #5 and 81 units and 3.3% also. Both models reach their highest ever ranking in the country this month, and the Panda is at its highest outside Italy.

Other great performers this month in Slovenia include the Dacia Sandero up 33 ranks to #9, Toyota Yaris up 15 to #13, the Dacia Duster solid at #17 vs. #38 in the Full Year, the Skoda Rapid up to #33 for its first full month of sales in the country and the Fiat 500L up 28 spots to #58. Notice also the Ford B-Max down 14 to #44, Opel Mokka down 11 to #57 and the Peugeot 301 down 14 to #64.
