The Slovenian new car market suffers once again in October at -18% year-on-year to 3,738 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 42,445 units, down 17% on 2011. For the third consecutive month and the 8th time this year, the Renault Clio is in the lead with 245 sales and 6.6% share, followed this time by the VW Polo at 184 units and 4.9%. The big event on the Slovenian models ranking podium is the arrival for the first time of the Peugeot 208 thanks to 155 sales and 4.1%, up 4 spots and 80% on September and behaving similarly to neighbouring Croatia where it ranks #1 this month.
