Bulgaria September 2012: Dacia leads, Great Wall up to #6

An estimated 1,863 new vehicles found a buyer in Bulgaria in September, bringing the year-to-date total to 17,822 units. Potentially due to the arrival of the Lodgy, Dacia takes the lead of the Bulgarian brands ranking, going from #6 and 6% in August to #1 and 10.1% share this month thanks to 189 sales. Dacia is #3 year-to-date at 1,356 units and 7.6%. Toyota stays #2 both in September and year-to-date at 9.3% and 8.9% respectively, while Volkswagen is down to #3 this month at 8.3% vs. #1 and 10.4% year-to-date.

Skoda is down one spot on last month to #4 but stays very solid at 7.8% share vs. 6.8% year-to-date and Renault stays #5 while the other big mover this month is Great Wall, now manufacturing cars locally, up 3 ranks on August to a best-ever 6th position with 108 sales and 5.6% share, only 3 units from ranking within the Bulgarian Top 5 for the first time! Notice also Citroen up to #9 and BMW up to #13
