Car sales data information is very rare for Morocco so if you have access to regular data please ensure you comment on this article so I can get in touch with you. The Moroccan new car market is up a very robust 19% year-on-year over the first 8 months of 2012 at 80,019 registrations, to which we can add 8,000 Commercial vehicles. In the Passenger Cars brands ranking, Dacia leads once again with 18,335 sales or 22.9% share, ahead of Renault at 12,512 and 15.6%, Peugeot at 7,196 and 9%, Ford up 47% year-on-year to 6,088 units and 7.6% and Hyundai up 45% to 5,329 sales and 6.7%.

Fiat Doblo Classic

Model-wise, the information is sparse. The Renault Kangoo should stay in pole position ahead of the Dacia Logan, while the Duster sold 500 units in August for a solid 5.8% share and the Lodgy and Dokker, produced locally, already managed to deliver close to 100 units each in August. Other models with Moroccan August sales available include the Fiat Doblo Classic (285), Nissan Qahsqai (193), Kia Picanto (162), Renault Megane (150), Peugeot 207 (130), Renault Clio 3 (90), Renault Symbol (82), Ford C-Max (79), VW Polo (55) and Hyundai Santa Fe (44).
