20,146 new cars changed hands in Ukraine in June, bringing the year-to-date total to 89,379 units. After 4 consecutive months of domination by the Skoda Octavia, the Ukrainian models ranking has a new leader this month: the Hyundai Accent, up 3 spots on May to 740 sales and 3.7% share, now ranking #3 year-to-date with 3,307 units and 2.9%. The Skoda Octavia is not far off: down just one spot this month to #2 with 652 sales and 3.2% it still leads the Ukrainian year-to-date ranking by a large margin with 4,191 units and 4% share. The Renault Logan has an excellent month, up 5 ranks to land #3 with 574 sales and 2.8%.

ZAZ Forza

The Lada Samara is down 2 ranks to #4 but stays #2 year-to-date, the Kia Rio is up one to #5 while the twins ZAZ Sens (#6) and Lanos (#7) continue on their disappointing run. The culprit could be in 9th place: the ZAZ Forza, a badge-engineered Chery Fulwin 2 produced locally, is up one spot on May to reach what could potentially be its highest ever ranking in Ukraine thanks to 429 sales and 2.1% share. The Ford Fiesta (+11) and Toyota Camry (+4) follow.

Geely MK-2

Further down the ranking, other great performers this month include the Lada Granta up 7 spots to #17, the ZAZ Vida, a badge-engineered previous generation Chevrolet Aveo produced locally, up 8 to a best-ever 24th place, the Geely MK-2 up a massive 51 ranks to #25 and the Great Wall Voleex C30 up to #127. The best-performing newcomer this month is the Citroen C4 Aircross landing at #200 with 13 sales.
