I am taking advantage of the Christmas holidays to upload more historical data for various countries. For the first time on Best Selling Cars Blog you can now access official data for Cyprus and a Top 10 for 2005 and 2006 there.

The Citroen C5 was #3 in Denmark in 2002 – its highest year-end ranking in the world

I have also uploaded all-new historical information for 10 countries/territories: Austria in 2001 and 2002, Belgium from 1998 to 2009, Czech Republic in 1998 and 1999, Denmark from 1998 to 2005, Finland from 1998 to 2003, Hungary in 1998 and 1999 and Japan in 1998 and 2000. The first half of the noughties was a very successful period for Peugeot, placing both the 206 and 307 on top of the models ranking in Belgium and Denmark, so now you can witness this in detail…

The Toyota Avensis was #1 in Finland in 2001, interrupting a decade-long domination of the Corolla

I have also added more detail to already existing data: a Top 75 Passenger Cars ranking for the USA in 1998 and 1999, a Top 30 for Western Europe in 1998 and 1999 and a Light Commercial Vehicles Top 20 for Europe in 2004 and 2005.
