If car sales in Norway slow their progression in 1959 at just +2% to 18,979 registrations, it shoots up again in 1960 at +66% to 31,482 units. Interrupted by the Volvo 444/445/544 in 1957 and 1958, the VW Beetle resumes its leadership of the Norwegian market and even reaches its highest ever share in the country over the period: it sells 4,082 units in 1959 for a 21.5% share and 7,059 in 1960 for a record 22.4% share...

Volvo PV445 Duett
